I'd heard, or read that 4G had the potential to disrupt the digital TV signal . This was back when the country dumped the analogue service, plumped for digital and then 4G was launched soon afterwards. We were researching the best antenna to buy and I came across the information on various blog threads. We ended up with the type that Wildax were fitting onto their new vans as we figured what was good enough for their factory fitted models would serve their purpose. Roll forward however many years it's been and we're on site, in Norwich at Easter. I was cock-a-hoop to have a glorious 4G signal and Mike was celebrating a full digital TV. Then his digital service wasn't so good, channels were breaking up and as we were south of the city with nothing much obstructing us on the way to the transmitter at Tacolneston, I had a light bulb moment. Could this be a 4G effect? I switched my smartphone back to 3G and wonder of wonders, Mike got his TV back properly. Well, well, well – who'd have thought it?
I love travel, any type. There is always a buzz in finding & exploring a place for the first time, meeting and making new friends and if you return things are never quite the same.
